Treasurer Report – Curt S

2023 weed treatment collected was close to 36 households

2024  weed treatment collected  27 households $8,550

2024  dues collected collected 30 households     $3,000

  • $8,343.61 Bank balance - July 27, 2024
  • -$1,733.52 Major expenses – pump rebuild, fall 2024  
  • -$2,058.60 Electricity for 2024
  •     $500.00 Govt assistance - Wright County Grant 
  • $6,745.05 Bank balance – March 11, 2025

Curly Leaf Pondweed Update:

  • Estimate for 2025 application

    ( $300) Curly leaf delineation survey for 2025

    ($9500) CLP Treatment

  • Patrick has and will reach out to Eric Fieldseth to conduct a lake survey three weeks after Ice Out prior to DNR treatment
  • Whole Lake CLP treatment will be conducted after water temp reaches 50 degrees by Aquadic Solutions
  • Grant applications turned down

Discussion of Aeration:

  • Rachel to talk to Chad Kuegler to see if they could find the leak in the line from one of the pumps

Payment of Dues ($100)/ Weed Treatment: ($250)

  • Anne S to assist in researching those who have not paid dues or weed treatment
  • Curt to provide a listing of folks (Middle of May) that have not yet paid for the year
  • Progress on a document listing benefits of joining the lake association - Anne
  • On the agenda for the meeting in May we will discuss to potentially raise the dues.
  • Nate to look into setting up a Venmo account for payments
  • Anne to looking into updating Signage at Public Access

Next Meeting on May 15th 7:00PM at Chad & Rachel Kuegler's home

  • Increasing the Association Dues

  • Curt to provide listing of households that are not participating in dues / weed treatment
    • Anne to reach out and give update of where we are in process of collecting
  • Finalize details for the lake picnic
  • Michelle to reach out to Republic and Curbside Waste (Group Discount)

Discussion: Lake Picnic:

  • July 12th Lake Picnic 1:00PM
  • Location TBD - Recommended the lake picnic to be hosted at Jim and Angela Miller's

Update on Wright Co. Soil & Water on Lake Watershed Issues- Al and/or Jim Miller

  • Dave Tabbut said Al Miller has been talking with them and had a concern of the tiling going on across from 44
  • To get update from Al and/or Jim Miller

New Business
District 4 Director: Wright Hennepin Electric Election

  • Our Neighbor, Richard Dehmer is running for Wright Hennepin Electric District 4 Director and is asking for our support.
  • You will receive voting information by mail with a paper ballot for Wright-Hennepin District 4.

    We can fill out the ballot and return it via mail, vote online, or vote in person at WH's Annual Meeting.
